Reading Lists

A reading list has been put together by participants and members of our research project, each contributing various items relevant to his or her special areas of interest. It is hoped that this list will serve as a helpful resource to scholars of East Asia. Graduate students, both in Japan and abroad, will no doubt find something of use here. Moreover, scholars from other areas may use this list as a means of gaining some understanding of what the field of East Asian studies embraces. The unique preferences of each individual contributor to this list have been left intact; overlapping entries have been left as is. Our goal, above all, has been to provide scholars with a multi-faceted introductory look at the world of East Asian studies. (Saitō Mareshi)
