Sponsored by the present research program, in cooperation with the International Program on Japan, Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies, Tokyo University, as well as Strasbourg University, along with others, Strasbourg University held its “Special Seminar for Beginners on Reading Sinitic Literature.” Aside from individual presentations given by students participating in this seminar, Dr. SAITŌ Mareshi, Dr. SHINADA Yoshikazu, and Dr. MATSUOKA Shinpei each gave separate lectures on the subject.
